What was your first job?

My first ever job was working at Watford Football Stadium age 15 - I served hot food and drinks in the VIP section for football and rugby games on the weekends. My first job in marketing was an apprenticeship at a family friend’s graphic design studio in Shoreditch. They gave me so much freedom and allowed me to try so many social media techniques. I loved it!

You are the founder of SevenSix Agency, an influencer and talent agency that’s committed to pushing for more inclusive representation. We’d love to know more about how and why you started your business.

After working in marketing in-house for my whole career I decided to go freelance in 2018 which led to me working almost exclusively in the influencer space. In 2019 SevenSix Agency was born out of frustration of seeing a major lack of diversity in that space. I knew the influencers existed but they weren’t being used for campaigns or invited to events, essentially being overlooked by brands, agencies and PR reps.

What do you enjoy most about what you do?

I love the creativity; we get given an idea and we make it make sense on the internet, it’s a really fun job!

What do you consider your greatest achievement to date?

I’d say that building my team is my biggest achievement to date! The business boomed in 2020 and it meant that I was able/forced to build my dream team. In 2021 I brought everyone on full time and the fact that I am able to work with these amazing women (and afford to) every day really makes me proud.

Who has most helped to inspire and shape your life and work as it is today?

I surround myself with amazing people that constantly inspire me. I think it’s a life choice I made in my 20s, to make friends who are like-minded and doing incredibly exciting things and who push me to do more!

What piece of advice would you give your younger self?

Put an emergency fund in place and start saving! I was very frivolous with my money in my 20s and ate up all my savings. I’ve worked since I was 15 so I definitely should have more to show for it than Facebook photos from holidays and club nights... but we live and we learn! My 30s so far have been all about building my future and I really wish I had started this early!

What did 2020 mean for you both professionally and personally?

Personally 2020 was a bit of a write off. I spent the whole year head down working and not really coming up for air. Professionally it was my best year yet. 2021 is all about striking that balance!

What is your motto?

No doesn’t mean no, it just means you need to ask again but in a more creative way.

How do you relax?

I love being with my family and friends in any capacity. They relax me and make me feel grounded again! I’m also a sucker for all things beauty. If you ever want to treat me, book me a nail appointment or a facial - I’ll love you for it.

Which three words would you use to describe Cefinn?

Sophisticated, elegant and surprising - it’s the colours and prints that always excite me with Cefinn!

How would you describe your style?

Colourful yet classic.

Which pieces are you most looking forward to wearing this Spring/Summer and why?

I’ve been wearing the Eva Blouson Cardigan way too much. It seems to go with everything I own. I also can’t wait to wear the Delilah dress on a summers evening out and about in Soho - fingers and toes crossed for this summer!
